Strengths
- + Powerful and quiet SyncDrive Pro 3 motor
- + Excellent Maestro suspension platform on technical terrain
- + Most affordable carbon Reign E+ in the lineup
- + Good battery integration on the proven Reign frame
Weaknesses
- − 560 Wh battery limits range vs 750-800 Wh rivals
- − Shimano Deore drivetrain is entry-level for a 6699 EUR enduro bike
- − RockShox Zeb Select fork and SLX brakes underwhelming for aggressive enduro use
- − Heavier than the E+ 0 despite lower-spec components
Motor: Giant's SyncDrive Pro 3 (Yamaha-based) is one of the quietest motors on the market with 90 Nm. Very natural response with no abrupt cut-off at 25 km/h.
