Strengths

  • + Fox 36 Rhythm provides excellent suspension performance for a lightweight eBike
  • + Shimano XT drivetrain is precise and durable
  • + Magura MT5 brakes offer strong stopping power
  • + Natural ride feel — Fazua motor barely noticeable when off

Weaknesses

  • Fazua Ride 60 platform discontinued — no guaranteed future support or parts availability
  • 430Wh battery limits range on big mountain days
  • Fox Float DPS shock lacks the refinement of Float X
  • 160mm fork ambitious for a lightweight motor — can overwhelm assistance on steep climbs
  • Internal cable routing through stem is aesthetically poor and limits custom cockpit options

Motor: ⚠️ Fazua platform discontinued (Porsche stopped investing May 2026) — future service, parts and software updates uncertain. The Fazua Ride 60 delivers 60 Nm with 450W peak, creating a very natural pedalling feel. Minimal resistance when motor is off. Range is the main compromise — plan shorter rides or carry the range extender.
