Strengths
- + Fox 36 Performance fork with 160mm travel delivers confident descending
- + TQ HPR50 near-silent operation and ultra-natural pedal feel
- + Range extender compatible (520Wh total) for extended rides
- + Triple Phase linkage with progressive 150mm rear suspension
- + Mullet setup with aggressive geometry (64° HTA) for confident descending
- + Shimano XT brakes provide consistent 4-piston stopping power
Weaknesses
- − TQ HPR50 50Nm/300W limitation — underpowered for steep climbs
- − 360Wh base battery requires range extender investment for full capability
- − 18.8kg heavier than expected for a lightweight eMTB at this price
- − TQ service network still limited compared to Bosch/Shimano
- − Alloy wheels (DT Swiss H1900) disappointing at €6,299 price point
- − Large discounts suggest uncertain future for TQ-based platform
Motor: Same TQ HPR50 — premium goes to suspension and components. The Fox 36 makes the bike significantly more capable on descents, but the 50Nm motor limitation remains unchanged on climbs. At this spec level, the motor becomes the bottleneck of an otherwise excellent platform.
